I was ordained by the Church of the Latter Day Dude on April 11, 2016. Earlier this year I received my Doctor of Philosophy in the field of Dudeist Studies on January 17, 2021.
More importantly than that, I’m taking it easy. I do a lot of meditation and reflection on the subjects of philosophy and keep an open mind about all kinds of modes of thinking and both ancient and newish ideas.
I have a number of interests that I pursue through blogs on many different subjects, but this one is special. This one is a labor of love. Like many of you, I loved The Big Lebowski. In these last couple years I’ve been more active with my health and mental wellness. A return to the ideas of Dudeism have really begun to serve me well.
Since I do enjoy writing, and I enjoy helping others, I thought I’d whip up this website to pursue building up this site to be a resource to anyone else seeking some wisdom in this crazy world. Maybe a little quiet or a way to meditate that really works for you.
Speaking of all that giving, I need to tell you there are no affiliate links, advertising or any way that this website is gonna try and sneak some money out of you. It doesn’t cost that much to have a website and I don’t mind footing the bill. When I feel like it’s grown to a point where it really provides some value I’ll put up a donation link. Nothing until then though.
